About the Role

We are hiring a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) for a research and product-focused role with a leading accounting and taxation software company in Surat. The role involves accounting research, competitor analysis, product improvement and functional software testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Research Accounting, GST, TDS, Income Tax and Inventory requirements for new features.
- Analyse Tally, Zoho Books, Busy, Marg and other accounting software.
- Suggest product improvements based on practical accounting requirements.
- Perform functional QA and software testing of accounting, GST, taxation, inventory and reporting features.
- Verify accounting entries, calculations, reports and tax/compliance logic.
- Identify functional gaps,



edge cases and incorrect accounting treatments.
- Work with Product, Development and QA teams on accounting and taxation requirements.
- Track relevant changes in GST, TDS and Income Tax regulations.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–5 years of experience.
- Robust practical knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS, Taxation and Inventory.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Busy or Marg.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to test software from an accountant/business-user perspective.
- Interest in SaaS, technology and product development.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
