Role & responsibilities

- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, ensuring the best quality and pricing.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and delivery terms that align with company objectives.

- Manage inventory levels by forecasting demand and collaborating with inventory management teams to avoid stockouts or excess stock.

- Analyze supplier performance through key metrics and reports to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

- 5-8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a Civil and Marine industry, demonstrating a track record of successful negotiations.

- Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Skilled (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are advantageous.
