About the Role
We are looking for an aggressive, result-oriented Business Development Manager – US Staffing with a proven track record of acquiring new clients and generating business in the US market across IT Staffing, Engineering Staffing, and Healthcare Staffing.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with an established network of US clients, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to bring new client logos from Day One. This role requires a hunter mentality, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to convert prospects into long-term staffing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- New Client Acquisition
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new US-based clients for staffing and workforce solutions.
- Bring new client logos and generate qualified business opportunities from Day One.
- Develop relationships with decision-makers, including VPs, Directors, HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leaders, Procurement Managers, and Hiring Managers.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, referrals, and networking.
- Identify opportunities with direct clients, MSPs, VMS programs, system integrators, staffing companies, and recruitment partners.
2. Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Drive new business across IT, Engineering, and Healthcare staffing.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate staffing agreements, rate cards, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Convert leads into signed MSAs, approved vendor registrations, and active staffing accounts.
- Identify opportunities for contract staffing, contract-to-hire, direct-hire, and other relevant workforce solutions.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with US clients and strategic accounts.
- Understand client hiring requirements, workforce plans, and vendor onboarding processes.
- Coordinate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.
- Expand existing accounts through cross-selling and additional service offerings.
4. Sales Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, client interactions, and opportunity forecasts.
- Track sales KPIs, including new client acquisition, meetings, qualified leads, MSAs signed, job requirements received, placements, and revenue generated.
- Provide regular business development updates and sales forecasts to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in US Staffing Business Development, preferably across IT, Engineering, and Healthcare staffing.
- Proven ability to acquire new US clients and generate business independently.
- A demonstrable track record of new client acquisition, signed MSAs, and revenue generation.
- Existing relationships with US-based clients, staffing firms, MSPs, or direct hiring organizations will be a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of the US staffing ecosystem, including W2, C2C, and 1099 engagement models, where applicable.
- Excellent cold-calling, email outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify decision-makers, manage sales cycles, and close deals.
- Strong communication skills and a target-driven, entrepreneurial mindset.
- Willingness to work US night shifts and from the Noida office.
Performance Expectations The candidate will be expected to demonstrate measurable business development outcomes, including:
- Day One: Start active prospecting and leverage existing relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- First 30 Days: Build a qualified pipeline, initiate client meetings, and progress vendor registrations and MSA discussions.
- First 60–90 Days: Target signed client agreements, active job requirements, and initial revenue opportunities.
- Ongoing: Consistently acquire new logos, develop strategic accounts, and meet agreed revenue and profitability targets.
Performance milestones will be aligned with the company's sales cycle, target market, and commercial expectations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- A hunter who can independently open doors with US clients rather than depend entirely on inbound leads.
- Experience selling staffing services to direct clients and/or established staffing partners.
- Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and close business with minimal supervision.
- Experience in IT staffing is essential; exposure to Engineering and Healthcare staffing is highly desirable.
- Candidates with verifiable recent-logo wins and an existing US client network will be preferred.
Compensation
Competitive fixed salary plus performance-linked incentives, based on experience, existing client relationships, and demonstrated business development results.
How to Apply
Interested candidates can share their updated CV along with details of their US staffing business development experience, new clients acquired, MSAs signed, and revenue generated.
Important: This position is intended for experienced sales professionals who can generate new business and acquire clients, not candidates whose experience is limited to account management or lead generation alone.
