About the Role Kayla is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager – IT Services to lead our business development and sales efforts.
The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of experience in a software service-based company and should be capable of managing the sales process from lead qualification to successful conversion.
You will be responsible for handling leads provided by Kayla, converting qualified prospects into clients, and managing a business development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete sales process from lead to conversion.
- Handle and follow up with leads provided by Kayla.
- Understand client requirements and identify suitable software solutions.
- Conduct client calls, meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Prepare proposals and coordinate with the technical team when required.
- Consistently follow up with prospects and move them through the sales pipeline.
- Close software development projects and achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage and guide the Business Development/Sales team.
- Track team performance and sales pipeline.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate additional leads when possible.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales.
- Mandatory: Experience in a software service-based company.
- Experience in selling custom software development services.
- Strong understanding of the complete sales cycle.
- Proven ability to convert leads into clients.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Positive understanding of software development services.
- English and Malayalam are mandatory.
