Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Chandigarh.

The Business Development

Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on academic institutions, publishers, and other strategic partners.

Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting product presentations and demos, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closing.



The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, supporting customer onboarding, and collaborating with internal teams to align solutions with client needs.

The Business Development

Executive will also track market trends, prepare regular sales reports, and contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Current Business Development and Lead Generation, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert prospects.
- Business and Account Management skills to manage pipelines, negotiate contracts, and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective presentation abilities.
- Relevant experience in B2B SaaS, edtech, or academic technology sales is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to monitor performance.
