Hiring Scientific Services Executive (SSE) / Product Executive field-based role that bridges the gap between the laboratory and the clinical community.

Location -Mumbai 4 positions (Field-based Assigned Territory (90% Travel)

Experience Required 0 3 Years (Freshers with strong academics welcome)

Industry Diagnostics / Molecular Pathology / Clinical Laboratory / Healthcare

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

A. Scientific Engagement with Consultants & Specialists

- Conduct structured scientific detailing visits to consultants, specialists, and senior clinicians in the assigned territory.
- Discuss the clinical rationale, methodology, turnaround time, and reporting nuances of specialised diagnostic tests including molecular, genomic, immunological, and histopathological assays.
- Build and maintain a database of key opinion leaders (KOLs), consultants, and specialists with documented visit history and engagement logs.

B. CME, Scientific Meetings & Academic Activities

- Plan, coordinate, and execute Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions, scientific symposia, case-discussion forums, and webinars.
- Develop or adapt scientific presentation content (slides, monographs, case studies) in coordination with the Medical Affairs team.
- Maintain records of all CME activities, attendance, and feedback for regulatory and quality purposes.

C. Sample Pickup Coordination & Pre-analytical Support





- Arrange and oversee timely sample pickup schedules from clinics, nursing homes, hospitals, and collection centres in coordination with logistics teams.
- Educate clinical staff on correct sample collection protocols, container requirements, patient preparation instructions, and storage conditions.
- Monitor and reduce pre-analytical errors (haemolysis, clotted samples, and incorrect tubes) through on-site training and protocol adherence.
- Act as the point of escalation for any sample rejection or logistical failure impacting a clinician & patient.

D. Query Resolution & Clinical Support

- Serve as the primary scientific interface for clinician queries on test reports, methodology, reference ranges, and interpretation.
- Liaise with the labs pathologists, scientists, and technical teams to resolve complex or unusual queries within committed turnaround times.
- Track all queries, their resolution time, and outcomes in the CRM system; identify recurring issues and recommend corrective measures.

QUALIFICATIONS & ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Essential Qualifications

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or allied Life Sciences.
- Robust academic track record evidenced by consistent performance not just a passing credential.
