BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (BDE) — ONLINE MARKETING & OUTREACH

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client, a growing business, is looking for a Business Development Executive to bring in new customers through online marketing and phone outreach. Recruitment for this role is managed by Dhanode on behalf of the client. The whole job is done online. You will not travel or meet anyone in person.

THE ROLE

You will run the client's online promotions, mainly on social media, and follow up with interested people by phone and WhatsApp. If the pages are quiet, posts go out late, or enquiries sit without a call back, that is this role's gap to close.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Plan and publish posts, reels and stories on the client's social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and others)
- Write simple, clear captions and hashtags, and keep a content calendar so nothing is missed or posted twice
- Run online promotions and offers, and make sure each one is posted on time across all platforms
- Reply to comments and messages quickly, and pass serious enquiries to the right person
- Handle marketing activities such as WhatsApp messages, email campaigns and online outreach
- Call people who showed interest, explain the offer, answer their questions and follow up until they decide
- Note every lead, call and next step in a tracker or CRM, so nothing depends on memory
- Track what is working (reach,



enquiries, calls, conversions) and report it every week in plain numbers
- Suggest current promotion ideas based on what is working

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 1–3 years in social media marketing, digital marketing, business development or tele-calling
- Has managed social media pages or run online promotions before
- Clear spoken and written English and Hindi
- Comfortable making calls and handling "no" without losing energy
- Basic skills in Canva or any simple design tool, and in Meta Business Suite or any posting tool
- Organised and reliable: every post, call and follow-up done on time
- Can work on their own and report progress without being reminded

BONUS POINTS
- Experience running paid ads on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)
- Experience with WhatsApp marketing or email campaigns
- Basic video editing for reels (CapCut or similar)
- Marathi, in addition to Hindi and English

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
- Not field sales: no travel, no client visits, no in-person meetings
- Not data entry or back-office work
- Not only posting content: calling and follow-up are part of the job
- Not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do each day
