Essai Education is an overseas admissions consultancy specialising in undergraduate applications to the US, UK, Canada, and beyond. We also run academic programs for high-schoolers, including the Discover research program, the Franklin Essay Prize, and our EARN and PReP programs.

About the role

We're hiring a Business Development Associate to drive sales and partnerships with schools and institutions across Delhi NCR. This is a fully sales-focused, client-facing role. You'll own outreach, presentations, follow-ups, and conversions, and you'll work closely with senior leadership and our in-house marketing team.

What you'll do

- Run daily outreach to schools through in-person visits, calls, and email to generate leads and build relationships
- Present Essai's programs to school leadership in person, and secure webinars with schools and partners
- Drive new partnerships and execute MOUs with institutions
- Own the sales strategy for our EARN program and drive sign-ups for EARN and PReP
- Manage the lead pipeline in our CRM, including categorisation and follow-up scheduling




- Follow up with clients by call and WhatsApp, including fee reminders
- Shadow and take part in sales calls with senior leadership, some of which run after regular hours
- Coordinate with the marketing team on sales decks and collateral
- Keep accurate records of sign-ups, MOUs, and agreements

What we're looking for

- 1+ year of experience in sales, education, or school outreach
- A track record in client acquisition and relationship management
- Confident presenting to school principals and decision-makers
- Solid communication, negotiation, and documentation skills
- Self-driven and able to work independently toward targets
- Experience in education sales or college counselling is a strong advantage

Work schedule In-office, 6 days a week. Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The role involves regular travel for school visits.
