We are looking for a Business Controller (Group Accountant) to take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across multiple entities in India and abroad. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work closely with management, contribute to commercial decision-making and grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting across multiple domestic and international entities, including system entries, reconciliations and financial record-keeping.
- Ensure books, accounting systems and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, organised and up to date.
- Prepare regular financial reports and business intelligence to provide management and key stakeholders with clear visibility into the financial health of each business.
- Liaise with external accounting firms, payment providers, suppliers, distribution partners and service providers across international markets.
- Work closely with management on contractual agreements, business plans, financial assumptions and other commercial workstreams as required.
- Build and improve financial processes, bringing structure,



accountability and efficiency to a growing group of businesses.

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA). An active practising certificate or current membership status is not required.
- 3–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience, ideally in a start-up, entrepreneurial venture or similarly fast-paced workplace.
- Strong understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisation.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, establish processes and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate professionally with international stakeholders.
- High levels of discretion and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential financial and business information.
- A self-driven approach, with the ability to independently manage workstreams, solve problems and deliver accurate work with minimal supervision.
