BIM Modeler – VDC

We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler to join our VDC (Virtual Design & Construction) team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate BIM models for building and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar BIM software, along with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and BIM coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop accurate 3D BIM models for building and infrastructure projects using Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar software.
- Create BIM models based on design drawings, project specifications, and engineering data.
- Add relevant information such as dimensions, materials, structural details, and MEP components to BIM models.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues before construction begins.
- Generate 2D drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and construction details from BIM models.
- Prepare BIM visualizations and renderings to communicate design intent and construction sequencing.
- Extract quantities of materials and components from BIM models to support estimation, procurement, and scheduling.
- Update and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, including design changes and as-built conditions.




- Review BIM models and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Participate in coordination meetings and communicate BIM-related issues effectively with project teams.
- Assist and guide team members in BIM software usage and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bentley MicroStation, or similar BIM software.
- Good understanding of civil engineering and construction principles.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Knowledge of structural, architectural, or MEP modeling.
- Understanding of construction drawings and documentation.
- Experience working on building or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows.
