Role & responsibilities
- Perform 3D CAD design and 2D drawing creation using CATIA V5/V6
- Define packaging concepts considering:
- Space constraints and packaging envelope
- Clearance and accessibility
- Mounting strategy
- Electrical isolation requirements
- Harness routing and connector accessibility
- Thermal considerations
- Vibration and mechanical loading
- Assembly and serviceability
- Perform vehicle/battery-package integration and interference/clearance checks.
- Develop BMS housings, brackets, covers, mounting features, and interfaces with the battery pack.
- Support packaging of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical interfaces associated with the battery system.
