Job Title: Azure Data Engineer

Location: Pune/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Chennai/Bangalore/Noida

Experience: 8-12 Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Role: ADF Data Engineer

Experience Required

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Warehousing development/support.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies.

Must Have Skills
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure Data Services including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL DW)
- Strong hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development and Data Warehousing concepts.
- Good understanding of Data Quality principles and implementation.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Job Scheduling and Dependency Management.
- Experience in handling Structured and Semi-Structured data.
- Strong database knowledge with experience in:
- Azure SQL Database
- Snowflake
- Strong SQL development experience, preferably SQL Server.
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good documentation skills.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within teams.

Nice to Have Skills
- Experience migrating traditional on-premises ETL processes to Azure Cloud.
- Experience migrating Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines across different environments.




- Python programming experience.
- Experience with:
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Azure DevOps
- Git
- Unit Testing

Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand business requirements and provide data engineering solutions from a data perspective.
- Analyze source systems and understand data flow across applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain straightforward to complex data pipelines and data flows.
- Work with Azure services such as:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Design, develop, and test software components/applications using Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Build scalable and optimized ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise data platforms.
- Implement security, authentication, and authorization frameworks within data solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Data Consumers.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation practices, and data governance policies.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and evolving business needs.
- Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and production support when required.
