Job Title: AV Engineer

Department: Information & Communication Technology

Position Overview The AV Engineer designs, integrates, programs, and maintains advanced audio, video, projection and control systems, as well as live streaming infrastructure across classrooms, seminar halls, and event spaces to support the institution's campus-wide activities.

Key Responsibilities

- System Design & Integration: Design, Engineer, and oversee the installation and commissioning of complex AV systems.
- Programming & Configuration: Program and configure advanced control systems, DSPs, video switchers, and AV-over-IP architectures (e.g., "Crestron, Extron and Dante).
- Advanced Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve high-level hardware, software, and network-related AV failures, perform system calibrations, and manage firmware lifecycles.
- Event Support & Operations:



Provide expert technical oversight and “Tier 3 support” for high-profile institutional events, hybrid classes, and major institutional ceremonies.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education & Experience: Diploma/Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field, plus 3–5 years of professional AV engineering and systems integration experience (higher education environment preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: In- Depth knowledge of or expertise in audio/video signal flow, IP-based networking, AV-over-IP standards, digital signal processing, and control system programming.
- Core Competencies: Solid project management, complex problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
