Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Purchase Manager with 5+ years of relevant experience in the interior design or construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor relationships, price negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials for interior projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for interior and construction materials.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and develop robust vendor relationships.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
- Review quotations and ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Coordinate with project, design, warehouse, accounts, and management teams for purchase requirements.
- Monitor purchase orders, material deliveries, and pending requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per project schedules.
- Handle vendor performance, quality issues, replacements, and follow-ups.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor databases, quotations,



and purchase orders.
- Support the Purchase Manager in planning and controlling procurement costs.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
- Ensure materials are procured according to project specifications and quality standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Relevant experience in Interior Design, Construction, Modular Interiors, or related fields is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of interior and construction materials.
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Hindi and English communication skills are mandatory.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and work within deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with experience in procurement for interior projects, modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, civil works, construction materials, or fit-out projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
