Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Merchandiser to support the merchandising team in managing customer requirements, samples, production follow-ups, costing, order documentation and delivery coordination.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of textiles, garments, apparel or fashion products along with valuable communication, coordination, follow-up and MS Excel skills.

Freshers with relevant internship experience in merchandising, apparel, textile or fashion designing are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and coordinate customer orders, requirements and product details.
- Coordinate with Design, Sampling, Production and Quality teams.
- Follow up on samples, sample approvals, production status and deliveries.
- Assist in preparing product costing, order sheets, BOM/details and production-related documents.
- Maintain order records, sample records, approval sheets and merchandising documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers whenever required.
- Follow up with internal teams to ensure orders are completed within timelines.
- Track sample development and communicate updates to the concerned team.
- Assist the Senior Merchandiser in day-to-day merchandising activities.
- Maintain proper communication and documentation for each order.
- Support timely execution of customer requirements from order confirmation to production and delivery.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of textiles, garments, apparel, fashion products or garment production.
- Basic understanding of fabric, trims, sampling and garment production processes.




- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Office.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain order-related records and documentation.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and vendors.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Educational Qualification Candidates should have a Graduate / Diploma qualification in any of the following:

- Fashion Designing
- Textile Designing
- Garment Technology
- Apparel Production
- Fashion Technology
- Textile Technology
- Merchandising
- Apparel / Garment-related courses

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with any of the following background will be preferred:
- Internship in Garment Merchandising / Textile / Apparel / Fashion Industry
- Internship or experience in sampling, production coordination or order follow-up
- Basic exposure to fabric, garments, trims, costing or production processes
- Freshers with practical industry internship experience

Candidates from completely unrelated backgrounds without any textile, garment, apparel or fashion exposure may not be suitable for this position. Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
