Position – Area Sales Manager – General Trade (West Bengal)

Base Location – Kolkata Job Purpose:This position is responsible for achieving the budgeted number for_ entire West Bengal_, by effectively selling Dr. Oetker products as well as creates business contacts and secures new business accounts/customer. Someone who has strong distributor management and manpower handling.

We have launches coming, so this position is critical. Not looking for just operations management person but someone who is an enabler and can work in a challenging GT setting.:

- Devise short term & long-term strategies and simultaneously super head initiatives to enhance overall Business development and thereby Sales Performance level of products.
- Accountable for establishing & augmenting the Distributors/Super-distribution network in entire trade area for General Trade.
- Manage a team of Sales Officers and Sales Representatives ensuring performance and target alignment.
- Oversee distribution network, including coordination with CFA and executed adherence to PDP plans.




- Planning & budgeting to achieve business targets & market share growth.
- Conducting demand forecasting and ensured optimal stock availability at the CFA level.
- Lead new product launches in the general trade channel and ensured higher market execution and visibility.
- Oversee branding and promotional activities in assigned territories in coordination with the marketing team.
- CFA Management, Stock Liquidation and Hygiene, Secondary freight Control, PDP Management.
- Achieve_ Primary _and Secondary sales targets as assigned by management on a monthly and quarterly basis across West Bengal.
