Area Sales Executive / Manager - General Trade (Innerwear). Mumbai | field travel across Maharashtra | Full-time The Role

You'll build and run Apoio's offline sales network from the ground up. That means appointing distributors, getting the brand into multi-brand outlets (MBOs) and innerwear retailers, and growing sales in your area month after month. We're looking for someone who already knows the innerwear trade and has relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers.

Responsibilities

- Find, appoint and onboard distributors and super stockists in your territory.

- Get Apoio into MBOs, innerwear and lingerie stores, kidswear stores and general trade outlets.

- Use your existing contacts in the innerwear trade to open accounts quickly.

- Meet store owners, present samples and the range, negotiate margins and terms, and close orders.

- Plan your beat and visit outlets regularly to collect repeat orders and check product display.

- Follow up on payments and manage credit limits and collections.





- Make sure stores get display material and that the product is placed well.

- Report on competitor pricing, schemes and new launches in the market.

- Share daily or weekly reports on visits, orders, collections and pipeline.

- Work with the Mumbai team on stock, dispatch and new SKU launches.

What we're looking for

- 3-6 years of field sales experience in innerwear, lingerie, hosiery or kidswear. This is a must.

- An existing network of distributors, wholesalers and MBOs in Maharashtra.

- Experience from brands like Jockey, Enamor, Lux, Dollar, Rupa, VIP, Bodycare or similar is a robust plus.

- A good understanding of general trade: margins, schemes, credit cycles and distributor economics.

- Self-driven, comfortable working on your own, and willing to travel extensively.

- Comfortable in Marathi and Hindi.

Basic

English is helpful.

- You'll need your own two-wheeler and a smartphone.
