Industry: US Healthcare / Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management
Bright Health Alliance is hiring an AR Executive with hands-on experience in US Healthcare Accounts Receivable and Medical Billing. The candidate will be responsible for insurance follow-up, claim status verification, denial resolution, and timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on unpaid and outstanding insurance claims.
- Call US insurance companies to check claim status.
- Work on denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
- Analyze EOBs/ERAs and payer responses.
- Take appropriate action on claim denials and payment issues.
- Submit corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals when required.
- Maintain accurate follow-up notes in the billing system.
- Work on aging AR and prioritize claims based on balance and timely filing limits.
- Coordinate with billing,
coding, and payment posting teams for claim resolution.
- Meet assigned productivity and quality targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in US Healthcare AR / Medical Billing.
- Good knowledge of insurance follow-up and denial management.
- Basic understanding of CPT, ICD-10, modifiers, EOB/ERA, and claim processing.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
