Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated AE Support Engineer with a robust Mechanical/Automotive Engineering background to support product development, customer application engineering, and powertrain-related projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Product Engineering, DFMEA, APQP, Change Management, CAD Design, BOM Management, Manufacturing Feasibility, and Product Lifecycle Management , with preference given to candidates having exposure to

Powertrain Systems, Exhaust Systems, Pistons, Bearings, and Valves .

The role requires close collaboration with design, validation, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Product Engineering & Project Management

- Support end-to-end product development activities from concept through production.
- Coordinate with global engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing functions.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical milestones.
- Participate in technical reviews and customer discussions.

Design & Development

- Perform CAD modeling and engineering design activities.
- Create and maintain Engineering BOM (EBOM) and Manufacturing BOM (MBOM).
- Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis and design validation activities.
- Support DVA, DFA, and DFS studies for product optimization.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

Product Quality & Validation

- Lead or support DFMEA activities and risk assessments.




- Participate in APQP activities and product quality planning.
- Support product validation and engineering sign-off activities.
- Address design concerns and implement corrective actions.

Change Management

- Handle Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and design modifications.
- Ensure proper documentation and implementation of engineering changes.
- Maintain product configuration and revision control through PLM systems.

Manufacturing & Feasibility

- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility for new products and design changes.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure producibility and cost optimization.
- Support value engineering and cost-reduction initiatives.

Powertrain & Exhaust Systems

- Support engineering activities related to:
- Engine Components
- Exhaust Systems
- Powertrain Systems

- Valves
- Bearings
- Work closely with design and validation teams on powertrain applications and vehicle integration activities.
