MANAGER AFTER SALES

Division: Thin Wire

Position - After Sales Manager

Qualification - Diploma/Btech

Experience - 05 to 10 years

Department: After Sales / Service

Reporting To: Head Thin Wire Division

Location: Customer Sites

Travel: Customer-site visits / Production

Job Purpose To manage after-sales activities for the Thin Wire business, understand customer requirements and technical problems at marble cutting machine sites, provide solutions, and coordinate with the Thin Wire Plant and Chinese technology partners for product improvement and technology upgradation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Feedback & Site Visits

- Regularly visit customer sites and collect feedback on thin wire performance, quality, breakage, cutting performance and application issues.
- Identify customer problems and coordinate for timely technical solutions.




- Maintain customer complaint and feedback records.

1. Technical & Product Development

- Identify recurring field problems and coordinate with Production, Quality and Technical teams for corrective actions.
- Support development and trials of improved thin wire products and applications.
- Provide field feedback for product and process improvement.

1. Chinese Vendor Coordination

- Coordinate with Chinese vendors/technical experts for technical solutions, new technology and product/process improvements.
- Facilitate technical discussions, trials and knowledge transfer between Chinese partners, SBMPL and customers.

1. Capacity & Plant Coordination

- Support improvement of Thin Wire plant capacity utilization and productivity.
- Coordinate with Production/PPC/Quality for resolving technical and process-related bottlenecks.

1. Training & Development

- Conduct technical training for internal teams and customers on thin wire technology, application and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with Chinese experts for technology training and knowledge transfer.

1. Reporting

- Prepare regular reports on customer visits, complaints, technical issues, trials, solutions and pending actions.
- Escalate critical customer and technical issues to management.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical, Production, Electrical or relevant technical field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience in After Sales / Technical Service / Wire Technology / Marble Cutting Machinery / Industrial Products.
- Experience with Chinese vendors or technology partners will be an advantage.

Key Skills
- Good technical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer handling and field-service experience.
- Good English communication skills are mandatory.
- Good coordination and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical issues with Chinese vendors/experts.
