Accounts & MIS Executive

Role Summary The Accounts & MIS Executive will support monthly financial closing, prepare accurate MIS reports, and generate management-requested analyses. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of financial and operational data.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Books Closing

 Support month-end closing activities.

 Reconcile ledgers, bank accounts, branches, and key financial schedules.

 Ensure consistency between accounting records and MIS reports.

MIS Preparation

 Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.

 Consolidate financial and operational data across branches.

 Generate reports on sales, purchases, expenses, inventory, receivables, payables, and profitability.

 Highlight variances, trends, and performance insights.

 Maintain and update MIS databases and automated reporting formats.

Management Reporting

 Prepare dashboards and analytical reports as requested by management.

 Provide ad-hoc analysis on costs, margins,



sales performance, and business indicators.

 Coordinate with accounts and branch teams to collect and validate data.

Qualifications

 CA Inter with Articleship experience (preferred)

 OR ACCA Part Qualified with minimum 2 years experience in an audit firm

 Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance

 Experience in gold, jewellery, bullion, or retail industry is an advantage

Technical Skills

 Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, data validation, dashboards)

 Strong analytical and reporting skills

 Experience with accounting/ERP systems

 Power BI knowledge is an added advantage
