Accountant – Jewellery Factory Internal Accounts

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com

Key Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or internal accounts.
- Strong practical knowledge of internal accounting and record maintenance.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Should be capable of maintaining accurate records and performing regular reconciliations.
- Should have good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Experience in the jewellery manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Key Qualifications:

- Mandatory Industry Experience: Must have a strong background specifically within the Jewellery or Diamond sector.
- Candidates from other industries will not be shortlisted for this role.
- Candidates only from BANGALORE are preferred. So please do not apply if you do not meet these qualification.

Key Responsibilities – Jewellery Factory Accounts

- Maintain internal accounting records for gold and diamond movements within the factory.
- Record and monitor gold issue to production/work orders and ensure proper accounting records.
- Maintain records of diamond issue, receipt and balance against respective production/work orders.
- Track gold and diamond issued to different departments, sections or production teams.
- Reconcile gold and diamond issue, receipt,



consumption and balance on a regular basis.
- Verify material-related entries and supporting documents for accuracy.
- Monitor pending gold and diamond returns/receipts and follow up with the concerned departments.
- Follow up on material shortages, excess balances, pending returns and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the production, stores, purchase and management teams regarding material-related accounting records.
- Maintain proper records of job work/material movement, where applicable.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly internal reports relating to gold and diamond issues, balances and pending items.
- Identify discrepancies between physical records and accounting/system records and coordinate for timely resolution.
- Ensure all internal gold and diamond transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documents.
- Follow up regularly with concerned persons to ensure timely closure of pending material/accounting entries.

Preferred Candidate A candidate with jewellery manufacturing/factory accounting experience, particularly in gold and diamond issue, reconciliation, material tracking and internal follow-up, will be given preference.

Note: This position is focused on internal factory accounts and gold/diamond material accounting. It does not involve sales accounting, GST, taxation or external statutory activities.
