Accountant – DTC Apparel Brand

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations for a growing DTC apparel/fashion brand.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, GST, Shopify sales reconciliation, Tally/Busy, vendor payments, international transactions and export documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting, payment tracking, invoicing, ledger maintenance and reconciliations.
- Reconcile DTC sales across Shopify, payment gateways, COD collections and bank receipts.
- Track and follow up on domestic and international outstanding payments with buyers and banks.
- Manage vendor, production, employee/team and operational payments.
- Record and verify purchase bills and maintain expense records.
- Handle cash collections and reconciliation.
- Perform stock reconciliation and coordinate with relevant teams for discrepancies.
- Manage GST filing, compliance activities and monthly accounting closure.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for domestic and international sales and transactions.
- Prepare and maintain export invoices, shipping documents and customs-related paperwork.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for export shipments and documentation.
- Handle and track international payment transactions.




- Maintain finance-related administrative documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, banks, payment gateways and logistics partners as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in Accounts/Finance, preferably within a DTC apparel, fashion, e-commerce or consumer brand.
- Solid understanding of day-to-day accounting and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with Tally or Busy.
- Working knowledge of Shopify and DTC sales reconciliation.
- Good understanding of GST and accounting compliance.
- Experience with export documentation and international payments.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple accounting and finance activities.

Preferred Experience Candidates with prior experience handling accounts for a DTC apparel/fashion brand will be preferred, especially those who have worked with:

- Shopify
- Payment gateways & COD reconciliation
- GST
- Tally / Busy
- Export documentation
- International payments
- Domestic & international sales accounting

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
