About the Role

We are testing a next-generation, free ERP and accounting software designed for Indian SMEs. We are looking for a detail-oriented accountant to join us and test the software.

What you'll do

- Perform day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchases, payments, receipts, journal vouchers) in our new ERP software
- Compare outputs — ledgers, trial balance, P&L;, balance sheet, GST reports — against expected results
- Identify bugs, inconsistencies, and UX issues and report them clearly
- Suggest improvements based on your practical accounting experience
- Gradually contribute to defining features, workflows, and compliance requirements as the software matures

What we're looking for

- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP (mandatory)




- Solid understanding of day-to-day bookkeeping and Indian accounting practices
- Familiarity with GST filing, TDS, and statutory compliance
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to document errors clearly
- Curiosity and interest in being part of building something recent
- Basic familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude

Good to Have

- Experience in a CA firm or SME finance team
- Basic familiarity with spreadsheets and reporting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
