Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, general ledger postings, and preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and assisting in statutory and internal audits by preparing schedules and documentation. The role involves supporting tax computations, TDS/GST working, and ensuring timely compliance with regulatory requirements.



The Accountant will collaborate with senior team members to provide accurate financial data for reporting, analysis, and client communication, maintaining organized records and documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
- Experience with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Familiarity with Indian taxation (direct and indirect), including GST, TDS, and basic tax computation.
- Ability to assist in audit processes, prepare working papers, and support statutory and internal audit requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Attention to detail, solid numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate and timely records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented professional environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; pursuing or completed professional qualifications (CA Inter, CMA, etc.) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a CA firm or in audit, taxation, or compliance roles will be considered beneficial.
