About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with IPO/Capital Market exposure who can manage day-to-day accounting activities and support the finance team in IPO-related accounting, documentation, audits, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, vouchers, invoices, receipts and payments.
- Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, schedules and MIS reports.
- Support the finance team in IPO preparation, documentation and financial data requirements.
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Consultants, CS and Merchant Banker/IPO advisors.
- Assist in preparing financial information and supporting documents required for DRHP/RHP and IPO due diligence.
- Ensure proper accounting records and supporting documents are maintained as per audit requirements.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory accounting compliances.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.




- Review and reconcile vendor/customer ledgers and outstanding balances.
- Support preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act and accounting standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and IPO-related information.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS and reconciliations.
- Prior experience in IPO / Pre-IPO / Listed Company setting preferred.
- Exposure to IPO documentation, due diligence and audit coordination.
- Good knowledge of Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work with auditors, consultants and senior management.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Profile

Candidates who have worked with a listed company, IPO-bound company, investment banking/merchant banking firm, or audit firm handling IPO assignments will be preferred.
