Aphrodite Global Ingredients is the ingredients solutions provider to India's supplement and food brands. Whey proteins, amino acids, plant proteins, bio-actives, sugar replacers and cocoa, imported from global manufacturers and delivered to brands across India. We also run our own ingredient brands.

We started in 2017 as a one-person operation in Mumbai. Today we're a 20-person team working with 100+ brands.

We're still small enough that your work gets noticed. You'll talk to customers, suppliers and the founder directly. If you want a role with fixed boundaries and a slow pace, this isn't it. If you want to learn and participate in running a growing business, it is.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vidyavihar, Mumbai. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in accounts, with at least 2 years leading a team at a trading or import business.

You will own the books. This covers day-to-day accounting, GST, TDS, receivables, payables, banking, and month-end closing. You will lead the accounts team,



work with our auditors and consultants, and give the founder numbers he can trust, on time.

The business is growing, and the systems need to grow with it. We want someone who can run today's work and also tighten the process.

Knowledge and Skills Required

- Full command of Tally/ Spectrum/ Zoho Books and books up to finalisation.
- GST: returns, ITC, e-invoicing, e-way bills.
- TDS and TCS: deduction, payment, returns.
- Receivables management: ageing, follow-ups with customers and the sales team, credit control.
- Payables, bank reconciliation, working capital limits, and bank coordination.
- Monthly MIS: P&L;, cash flow, stock, debtors, creditors.
- Understanding of import accounting and inventory valuation.
- Experience handling statutory audit, tax audit, and assessments.
- Ability to lead and review a small team.
- B.Com is a must. M.Com, CA Inter, or MBA Finance is an advantage.
- High integrity. Comfortable saying no, including to the founder.
