Freelancing Opportunity :- We are currently hiring multiple Senior Code Quality Engineers for a short-term AI Code Evaluation & Engineering project across: India

Role: Senior Code Quality Engineer

Experience: 7+ Years

Mode: Remote

Start: Immediate

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

Technical Qualification:

- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language: Python | JavaScript/TypeScript | Java | C++ | Go | C# | Ruby | PHP | Rust
- Strong experience building, debugging, maintaining, and reviewing production-grade software
- Excellent understanding of clean code, software design, modular architecture, abstraction, error handling, and maintainability
- Ability to identify functional, performance, security, and architectural issues in complex codebases
- Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with code reviews and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity with Git and modern software engineering practices
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, APIs, databases, and application architecture
- Strong written English and ability to communicate technical feedback clearly

Key:



This is NOT a traditional testing or manual QA role. Candidates must have strong software engineering and code-review experience.

Availability:

- Minimum 40 hours/week
- At least 8 hours/day
- Minimum 4 hours overlap with PST business hours

What You’ll Work On:

- Review and evaluate AI-generated code across programming languages and engineering scenarios
- Assess code for correctness, security, reliability, scalability, readability, and maintainability
- Identify bugs, logical errors, edge cases, incomplete implementations, and architectural issues
- Analyze unfamiliar codebases and evaluate proposed changes
- Review bug fixes, feature implementations, refactoring, API integrations, and database operations
- Compare alternative implementations against technical requirements
- Rewrite or improve code to create high-quality reference solutions
- Develop evaluation criteria, technical annotations, and rubrics for code-quality assessment
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineering teams to improve LLM coding evaluation
