Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cashier to join our textile showroom. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in retail cashiering and billing, preferably in the textile, garments, fashion, or showroom industry.

The candidate will be responsible for handling customer billing, cash transactions, POS operations, invoice generation, and daily cash reconciliation while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily cash counter and billing operations.
- Generate accurate customer bills and invoices.
- Operate POS / billing software efficiently.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales and collections.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and report discrepancies.
- Handle returns, exchanges, cancellations, and billing corrections as per company policy.
- Coordinate with sales staff and showroom team regarding billing and customer requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of bills and payment transactions.
- Ensure the cash counter is organized and secure.




- Assist customers with billing-related queries.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling and billing.
- Support the showroom team during peak business hours and promotional periods.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cashier / Billing Executive.
- Experience in textile, garments, fashion, retail showroom, or similar retail industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience with POS and billing software.
- Good knowledge of cash handling and payment processing.
- Positive numerical and calculation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Basic computer knowledge is required.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in textile showrooms or large-format retail stores and hands-on experience in billing, POS operations, cash handling, and daily reconciliation will be preferred.
