Cashier | Sojatia Jewellers

Sojatia Jewellers is looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling daily billing and cash transactions, preparing accurate invoices, receiving payments through cash, card, UPI and other modes, and ensuring smooth and efficient checkout for customers. The role requires a high level of accuracy, honesty, and professionalism, particularly while handling high-value jewellery transactions.

The Cashier will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of daily sales, cash receipts, payments, refunds, and other financial transactions. The candidate will coordinate with the sales and accounts teams for billing, payment reconciliation, and day-end cash closing. Ensuring that all billing is done as per company policies, verifying discounts and offers, maintaining proper documentation, and reporting any discrepancies to the concerned senior will also be an important part of the role.

The ideal candidate should have positive numerical and communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and familiarity with billing software/POS systems.



Previous experience as a cashier, billing executive, or in a jewellery retail setting will be preferred. Candidates should be comfortable dealing with customers, handling confidential financial information, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Knowledge of jewellery billing and understanding of GST invoices will be an added advantage.

The candidate must be honest, punctual, well-groomed, and attentive to detail, with a strong sense of responsibility while handling cash and customer payments. Good customer-service skills and the ability to work effectively with the sales and accounts teams are essential.
