- Handle foreign currency exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Buy and sell foreign currencies as per company rates and procedures.
- Verify customer KYC, identification and required documents before processing transactions.
- Prepare currency purchase/sale bills, receipts and transaction records.
- Handle cash, foreign currency and related payments responsibly.
- Maintain accurate daily cash and currency balances.
- Check foreign currency notes for authenticity and condition.
- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, AML and company guidelines.
- Maintain proper records of currency stock and transactions.
- Coordinate with the bank, treasury or head office for currency requirements.
- Assist customers with foreign exchange requirements, travel cards and related services, as applicable.
- Follow proper procedures for cash security and end-of-day reconciliation.
- Report any cash shortage, excess, suspicious transaction or discrepancy immediately.
- Provide qualified and courteous customer service.
- Support the branch in achieving forex sales, revenue and business targets.
