Job Summary

looking for experienced Panel Saw Operators to join our Production Department. The candidate will be responsible for operating Panel Saw machines, accurately cutting plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle boards and other panels as per approved measurements and cutting lists while maintaining quality, safety and minimum material wastage.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the Panel Saw machine safely and efficiently as per production requirements.
- Cut plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board and other panels according to approved measurements and cutting lists.
- Check dimensions, measurements and cutting instructions before starting the cutting process.
- Set cutting parameters, blade height, fence, guides and other machine settings according to required panel size.
- Ensure cut panels are accurate, clean and free from unnecessary chipping, damage or defects.
- Handle sheets and finished panels carefully to prevent breakage, scratches, wastage and damage.
- Follow cutting plans and minimize unnecessary material wastage.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and basic maintenance of the Panel Saw.
- Check blade and cutting-tool condition and report replacement or sharpening requirements.
- Follow all machine safety rules and use required PPE.
- Complete assigned cutting work within the required production schedule.
- Immediately report machine malfunction, incorrect cutting, material damage or other production issues to the supervisor.
- Keep the machine and surrounding production area clean and organized.
- Cross-check cutting lists, drawings and measurements before cutting.
- Coordinate with production,



carpentry and installation teams regarding cutting requirements and priorities.
- Maintain records of material received, panels cut, wastage and machine-related issues.
- Follow instructions given by the Production Manager/Supervisor and company policies.
- Use machines, tools, materials and other company property carefully and only for authorized work.

Technical Skills Required

- Proficiency in operating Panel Saw machines.
- Knowledge of cutting plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board and laminates.
- Ability to read and understand cutting lists, measurements and furniture drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of measurement, marking and cutting calculations.
- Ability to set and adjust machine settings, cutting dimensions, fences, guides and blade height.
- Knowledge of blade selection, blade condition and basic blade maintenance.
- Ability to identify and minimize cutting errors and material wastage.
- Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Understanding of machine safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as measuring tape, scale, vernier/caliper and measuring gauges.
- Knowledge of edge quality, chipping prevention and accurate panel sizing.
- Ability to maintain cutting records and production reports.
- Basic understanding of modular furniture manufacturing processes.

Salary & Benefits

- Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month
