About Us:
We are a growing food manufacturing company with two brands, Tavon (premium free-from snacks and bakery) and Bake Theory (fresh bakery), and we also manufacture for leading brands. We have a team of 40+ people and are looking for an accountant to join our finance team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day accounting entries in Tally (purchase, sales, journal, payment, receipt)
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and do GSTR-2B reconciliation
- TDS deduction, payment and quarterly return filing
- Bank reconciliation and vendor/customer ledger reconciliation
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable and follow up on payments
- Support monthly payroll, PF, ESI and PT compliance
- Coordinate with stores for raw material and packing material stock records
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and closing stock statements
- Support the auditor during audits and help with GST refunds and other compliance work
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance)
- Valuable working knowledge of Tally Prime
- Good knowledge of GST and TDS
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Able to communicate in English, Kannada or Hindi
- Candidates who can join immediately are preferred
