Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance & Accounting team on a full-time basis at our Vadapalani, Chennai office. The ideal candidate will support daily financial operations, assist with reporting, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping in compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and record invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions

Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and petty cash

Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and audits

Support the month-end and year-end close processes

Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections

Help prepare payroll and handle employee expense reimbursements

Maintain and organize financial documents and records

Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for finance-related queries

Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls





Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field

1–2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (fresh graduates may also apply)

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) preferred

Skills:

Strong numerical and analytical abilities

Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Robust communication and time management skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team

High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
