Key Responsibilities
- Sample Collection: Draw blood via venipuncture or receive other specimens (urine, stool) following safety rules.
- Patient Verification: Confirm patient details and test requisitions before collection.
- Labeling & Packaging: Label, store, and pack specimens securely to prevent leaks, damage, or contamination.
- Logistics & Transport: Deliver samples to the main laboratory on time while keeping required temperature controls (cold chain).
- Payment Collection: Collect cash or digital payments from patients or partner collection centres and issue official receipts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain daily logs, handover reports, and submit collected cash to the accounts team.
