Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase orders, material availability, and cost-effective sourcing. The ideal candidate should have good negotiation skills, robust follow-up abilities, and an understanding of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers/vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, shortages, and delayed supplies.
- Maintain updated records of vendors, quotations, purchase orders, invoices,



and other procurement documents.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, Quality, and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement based on stock requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Knowledge of ERP/Purchase Management software will be an advantage.
- Ability to compare quotations and analyze pricing.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple purchase requirements.

Requirement

- Graduate in B.Com, BBA, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
