About the RoleIonic Interiors is looking for an experienced Architect / Architectural Designer to work remotely with our project and execution team.

This is a design + technical execution support role, not limited to architectural drafting.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating civil/structural design requirements, 3D designs, interior design drawings and working drawings required for our residential and commercial projects.

The candidate must be comfortable working independently, understanding site requirements and coordinating with the Project Head and Site Supervisor to ensure that drawings are practical and executable.

- Key Responsibilities1. Architectural & Civil DesignPrepare architectural plans, layouts, elevations and sections.
- Develop drawings required for residential and commercial construction projects.
- Prepare civil working drawings required for site execution.
- Understand building planning, dimensions, levels and construction details.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with structural and civil requirements.
- Identify design conflicts before execution.
- 2. Structural Design SupportPrepare/coordinate structural design and structural drawings for civil works.
- Develop structural layouts, column positions, beam layouts, slab details, footing layouts and other required structural drawings.
- Prepare reinforcement/detailing drawings and schedules where technically competent.
- Coordinate structural requirements with architectural plans.
- Review structural drawings for practical execution and site coordination.
- Work with external structural consultants where specialised structural design/input is required.

Important: Candidate must have practical understanding of structural design and RCC construction. This is not a purely drafting position.

- 3. 3D Design & VisualizationPrepare 3D models and realistic 3D views for residential and commercial projects.
- Develop exterior/façade 3D designs.
- Develop interior 3D designs for:
- Living rooms
- Bedrooms
- Kitchens
- Wardrobes
- False ceilings
- TV units
- Commercial interiors
- Offices
- Other interior spaces
- Prepare design options based on client requirements.
- Develop presentation-quality views for client discussions.

Interior Design DrawingsPrepare necessary working drawings for interior execution, including:

- Furniture layouts
- Ceiling layouts
- Electrical layouts
- Lighting layouts
- Flooring layouts
- Wall elevations
- Wall paneling details
- Kitchen drawings
- Wardrobe drawings
- Toilet layouts/details
- Joinery details
- Material/finish details
- Sections and construction details
- Other execution drawings required for the project
- 5. Working Drawings & DocumentationConvert design concepts into clear, execution-ready drawings.
- Prepare detailed working drawings for site teams.
- Maintain proper drawing numbering, revisions and issue status.
- Incorporate site/client changes into revised drawings.
- Ensure the latest approved drawing is clearly identifiable.
- Prepare drawing sets required for execution and client presentation.

6. Site & Execution CoordinationAlthough the position is remote, the candidate must understand real construction execution.

The candidate will coordinate remotely with:

Project Head → Site Supervisor → Labour/Vendors → Client

Responsibilities include:

- Understanding site photographs/videos and measurements.
- Reviewing site conditions remotely.
- Providing technical clarification to the site team.
- Modifying drawings according to actual site conditions.
- Identifying execution problems from site updates.
- Coordinating design changes with the Project Head.
- Ensuring drawings are practical and executable.

Required Software SkillsCandidate should be proficient in relevant design software such as:

- MandatoryAutoCAD
- SketchUp / 3D modelling software
- 3D rendering software such as V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion, D5 or equivalent
- AdvantageRevit
- 3ds Max
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- CorelDRAW
- Other architectural/interior design software

Strong AutoCAD + 3D capability is essential.

- Can work independently without continuous supervision.
- Can communicate clearly through WhatsApp, phone, Google Meet and email.
- Can meet project deadlines.
- Is comfortable working with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Has a strong sense of detail and responsibility.

“I can draw in AutoCAD.”

We need someone who can understand:

Design → Drawing → Structure → Construction → Interior → Site Execution

and convert project requirements into practical, accurate and execution-ready solutions.

EducationB.Arch / B.Tech Civil / Diploma in Architecture / Civil Engineering / equivalent relevant qualification

Candidates with strong practical experience and portfolio may also be considered.
