Studio Manager – VOLVE

VOLVE is a premium dance, fitness, wellness and creative movement studio built around Arts · Movement · Community · Transformation.

We are looking for a responsible, organised and people-focused Studio Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our physical studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily studio opening, operations and closing.

• Ensure classes, fitness sessions, workshops, events and studio hires run smoothly and on time.

• Manage customer enquiries, walk-ins, bookings, attendance, cancellations and membership assistance.

• Coordinate instructors, trainers, guest artists, vendors and housekeeping staff.

• Manage studio schedules and help prevent booking or room conflicts.

• Use VOLVE’s digital Admin system for bookings, attendance, customer records, schedules and operational tasks.

• Maintain excellent cleanliness, presentation and overall studio ambience.

• Check studios, reception areas, equipment and facilities throughout the day.

• Assist with personal training, workshops, events, shoots and special studio activities.

• Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve day-to-day operational problems independently.





• Maintain accurate records and communicate important issues to management.

• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, supplies and vendors when required.

• Support walk-in enquiries, trial customers and customer conversions.

• Maintain VOLVE’s premium customer-experience and brand standards at all times.

Preferred Candidate

• Experience in studio operations, fitness, wellness, hospitality, events, retail or customer service preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable using computers, smartphones and admin/booking software.

• Highly organised with solid attention to detail.

• Reliable, punctual and comfortable taking responsibility for studio operations.

• Calm and solution-focused when handling customer or operational issues.

• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.

• Must be able to commute reliably to the VOLVE studio in Mumbai.

Experience in the dance or fitness industry is an advantage but not mandatory.

We value ownership, accountability, warmth and initiative as much as previous experience.
