1. Job PurposeWe are looking for a technically competent and field-oriented Electrical Engineer to execute electrical audits, testing, measurements, inspections and maintenance activities at industrial, commercial and infrastructure sites.

The candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical safety audits, power quality analysis, thermography, electrical testing, preventive maintenance and other electrical engineering assignments while ensuring proper safety practices, accurate measurements and professional reporting.

- 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Electrical Safety AuditConduct electrical safety inspections at industrial and commercial installations.
- Inspect LT/HT electrical systems, panels, transformers, DG sets, MCC/PCC panels, cable installations, earthing and protection systems.
- Identify electrical hazards, unsafe practices and non-compliances.
- Verify electrical safety arrangements as per applicable CEA Regulations, IS, IEC and relevant standards.
- Prepare site observations, photographs, measurements and recommendations.
- Assist in preparation of detailed Electrical Safety Audit Reports.
- B. Power Quality AnalysisConduct power quality measurements using power quality analyzers.
- Record and analyse:

- Frequency
- Voltage THD
- Current THD
- Harmonics
- Voltage/current imbalance
- Transients and other relevant parameters
- Analyse electrical system performance and identify power quality issues.
- Prepare Power Quality / Harmonic Analysis reports with recommendations.
- Evaluate harmonic levels with reference to applicable standards such as IEEE 519 where applicable.
- C. ThermographyConduct infrared thermography of electrical installations.
- Scan electrical panels, MCCs, PCCs, transformers, busbars, cable terminations, breakers, joints and other electrical equipment.
- Identify abnormal temperature rise and potential failure points.
- Capture and document thermal images and corresponding visual images.
- Prepare thermography observations and recommendations.

D. Electrical Testing & MeasurementsPerform/assist in various electrical tests, including:

- Earth Pit / Earthing Resistance Testing
- Earth Loop Impedance Testing
- RCD / RCCB / ELCB Testing
- Insulation Resistance Testing
- Continuity Testing
- Transformer Testing
- Cable Testing
- Circuit Breaker Testing
- Primary Injection Testing

- Electrical Equipment Health Assessment
- Other electrical testing as per project requirements.
- E. Electrical Maintenance & TroubleshootingAssist in preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Inspect electrical equipment and identify potential failures.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and abnormalities.
- Assist in maintenance of LT/HT panels, transformers, MCC/PCC, capacitor panels, breakers and associated systems.
- Support clients in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Carry out equipment condition assessment and recommend suitable corrective measures.
- 3. Site ResponsibilitiesTravel to client locations as required.
- Execute site activities independently or as part of a technical team.
- Coordinate with client electrical/maintenance teams.
- Follow site-specific safety rules and permit procedures.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working practices.
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of testing instruments.
- Complete assigned activities within the scheduled timeline.
- Maintain accurate site records, checklists, test results and photographs.

4. Reporting & DocumentationThe engineer will be responsible for:

- Preparing daily site activity reports.
- Recording test results and measurements accurately.
- Maintaining equipment/test instrument records.
- Preparing inspection checklists.
- Organising site photographs and observations.
- Supporting preparation of technical reports.
- Reviewing technical data for accuracy before submission.
- Preparing recommendations based on test results and site observations.
- Coordinating with the reporting team for timely report completion.

5. Instruments / Equipment KnowledgeThe candidate should be willing to learn and operate electrical testing instruments such as:

- Power Quality Analyzer
- Harmonic Analyzer
- Thermal Imaging Camera
- Earth Resistance Tester
- Earth Loop Impedance Tester
- Insulation Resistance Tester (Megger)
- RCD Tester
- Multimeter
- Clamp Meter
- Primary Injection Test Kit

- High Voltage Test Equipment
- Other electrical testing instruments.
- 6. Required Technical SkillsGood understanding of electrical systems and distribution networks.
- Knowledge of LT/HT electrical installations.
- Understanding of electrical protection systems.
- Knowledge of earthing and electrical safety.
- Basic understanding of power quality and harmonics.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Ability to take accurate electrical measurements.




- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Good technical report-writing skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian electrical standards will be an advantage.

7. Desired Standards / Regulations KnowledgeKnowledge of the following will be preferred:

- Indian Standards (IS)

9. Education & ExperienceQualification:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B.E. / B.Tech. Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may be considered.
- 1–5 years of experience in electrical testing, electrical maintenance, electrical audits, commissioning, power quality or similar field activities will be preferred.

- 11. Other RequirementsWillingness to travel is mandatory.
- Valid driving licence will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Marathi, Hindi and English will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in industrial environments.
- Ability to work at heights / restricted areas where site conditions require, subject to applicable safety procedures.
- Candidates must strictly follow LOTO, PPE, permit-to-work and electrical safety procedures at client sites.
