ABCOM is looking for an L1 Remote Laptop Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support to laptop users across India.

The role involves remotely diagnosing and resolving Windows OS, software, driver, network and common hardware issues. The technician must also identify hardware failures that cannot be resolved remotely and escalate them to L2/onsite technical support for physical repair or hardware replacement.

- Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot Windows 10/11 issues, errors, crashes and performance problems.
- Diagnose software, application and configuration issues.
- Install, update and troubleshoot drivers.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, camera, display, keyboard and other peripherals.
- Perform remote hardware diagnosis for RAM, SSD, battery, charger, display, keyboard, ports, overheating, etc.
- Identify suspected hardware failures and determine whether onsite support is required.
- Create detailed tickets with diagnosis and troubleshooting performed.
- Escalate hardware cases to L2/onsite technicians with transparent technical findings.
- Guide customers remotely through troubleshooting steps.
- Ensure proper ticket documentation and timely resolution.
