Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Educational Counsellor to guide students and working professionals in selecting suitable Online, Distance, and Higher Education programmes. The candidate will be responsible for understanding student requirements, explaining programme details, following up with prospective students, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and working professionals regarding suitable educational programmes.
- Understand the student's educational background, career goals, and programme requirements.
- Explain course structure, eligibility, duration, fees, specialisations, and admission procedures.
- Generate and handle leads through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Coordinate with the admission/operations team for documentation and enrolment.
- Achieve monthly counselling and admission targets.




- Build positive relationships with students and provide timely assistance.
- Handle student queries professionally and resolve basic admission-related concerns.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and counselling skills.
- Good English and local-language communication skills.
- Convincing and positive personality.
- Good follow-up and lead-conversion skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, WhatsApp, email, and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
- Freshers with good communication skills can also apply.

Preferred Candidate Candidates from B.Com, BBA, MBA, M.Com, Marketing, Sales, Education, or related backgrounds are preferred.

Experience in educational counselling, admission counselling, inside sales, telecalling, or customer relationship management will be an advantage.
