About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior FMCG Merchandiser to manage FMCG categories, assortment, inventory, pricing, sales performance and store execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage FMCG category merchandising and assortment planning.
- Analyse sales, margins, SKU performance and market trends.
- Manage inventory, replenishment, stock ageing and availability.
- Plan pricing, promotions and seasonal offers.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, warehouse and store teams.
- Ensure proper product placement and merchandising across stores.
- Prepare MIS and business performance reports.




- Lead and manage the merchandising/category team.

Required Experience & Skills:

- 10–20 years of experience in FMCG merchandising/category management.
- Strong experience in modern trade, supermarket or large-format retail.
- Experience with FMCG categories such as Grocery, Beverages, Personal Care and Packaged Foods.
- Candidates from DMart, Reliance Retail, Vishal Mega Mart, More Retail, V-Mart, Spencer’s or similar companies preferred.
- Solid skills in category management, inventory planning, vendor management, negotiation, Advanced Excel and MIS.
- Graduate required; MBA/PGDM will be an advantage.
