Role: Look after the daily work of the warehouse: goods coming in, storing them, and sending them out, with correct stock records and a clean floor.
Responsibilities
- Supervise unloading, storing, packing, and dispatch of goods
- Keep stock records correct and check stock regularly
- Store goods properly, with older stock sent out first
- Manage and plan work for warehouse staff and helpers
- Coordinate with purchase, sales, and transport people
- Keep the warehouse safe and clean, and avoid damage or loss of goods
- Prepare daily stock and dispatch reports
Requirements
- Graduate ITI, or diploma preferred (not compulsory if experience is positive)
- Basic Excel and paperwork knowledge (bills, challans, receipts)
- Tally experience is a plus
- Computer knowledge is a plus
- Previous experience similar to this job role is plus
