Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Food R&D; professional to develop, test, standardize, and scale healthy food products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in recipe development, product trials, food costing, and commercial production, with a focus on taste, quality, consistency, and cost efficiency.

Candidate Profile

- 6–10 years of experience in Food R&D;, Central Kitchens, QSRs, Restaurants, Catering, FMCG, or Food Manufacturing.
- Qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Strong experience in recipe development, product trials, standardization, and commercial scale-up.
- Knowledge of food costing, yield optimization, portion control, shelf-life testing, and food safety.
- Strong sensory evaluation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to collaborate with Culinary and Production teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve recipes, menu items, sauces, gravies,



marinades, and other food products.
- Conduct product trials and scale recipes from R&D; to commercial production.
- Standardize recipes, cooking processes, yields, portions, and cooking parameters.
- Prepare recipe cards, SOPs, batch sheets, and product specifications.
- Optimize food costs, yields, and wastage while maintaining product quality.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and shelf-life trials in coordination with QA.
- Troubleshoot product quality and production-related issues.
- Collaborate with Culinary, Production, QA, Procurement, and Operations teams.
- Ensure products meet standards for taste, consistency, quality, food safety, and cost.
