ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Study Abroad Counselor, you will work directly with prospective students, understand their academic and career objectives, recommend suitable international education pathways, and guide them through the university application and admission process.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Student Counselling and Academic PlanningUnderstand students' academic backgrounds, career aspirations, budgets, and international education preferences.

- Recommend suitable courses, universities, and study destinations based on individual student profiles.
- Develop appropriate academic pathways aligned with students' long-term educational and professional goals.
- Assess admission eligibility and explain relevant university requirements.

2. Consultative Sales and Student ConversionEngage with prospective students to understand their requirements and recommend suitable education solutions.

- Explain available courses, university options, admission procedures, and associated services.
- Build trust with prospective students and their families through professional counselling.
- Address queries, handle objections, and guide students towards informed enrollment decisions.
- Work towards applicable lead conversion, admission, or enrollment targets.

3. Lead Management and Follow-UpsConnect with prospective students through calls, emails, and other communication channels.

- Follow up consistently with interested students to understand their requirements and application readiness.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and application progress.




- Nurture prospective students throughout the decision-making process.

4. University Applications and DocumentationAssist students with university applications and admission procedures.

- Guide students in preparing statements of purpose, recommendation letters, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted within the prescribed deadlines.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to track application progress and admission decisions.

5. Visa Guidance and Application SupportExplain student visa application procedures and documentation requirements.

- Guide students through document preparation and visa interview preparation, where applicable.
- Provide updates regarding application progress and relevant procedural changes.
- Ensure students receive accurate information regarding applicable visa requirements.

6. Student Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain professional relationships with prospective and enrolled students.

- Address student concerns promptly and provide appropriate guidance throughout the admission journey.
- Maintain consistent communication from the initial inquiry through application processing and enrollment.
- Contribute to student satisfaction through timely follow-ups and effective support.

7. Market Research and Industry KnowledgeStay informed about international university admissions, popular study destinations, and course offerings.

- Monitor relevant changes in admission criteria, visa regulations, and application procedures.
- Develop an understanding of international education pathways and emerging student preferences.
- Collaborate with team members to improve counselling effectiveness and service quality.
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's or Master's degree completed in any discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with relevant experience in education counselling, inside sales, B2C sales, admissions, customer service, or relationship management are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent English communication skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Fixed Annual CTC: ₹3,00,000

Variable Incentives: Up to ₹1,00,000 per annum
