Pragati Engineering Works (PEW), Turbhe MIDC, Navi Mumbai, is an MEP contractor serving leading data center and telecom clients. We handle operations support and expansion projects across Civil, Electrical (HT/LT), HVAC, Fire Safety and ELV works.

Position: Electrical Supervisor - Data Center (MEP)

Reports to: Project Manager

Base: Navi Mumbai office, with regular travel to sites

Site Locations

- Mumbai: Malad, Chandivali, Navi Mumbai
- Pune: Hinjawadi, Kharadi
- Gujarat: Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat
- Rest of Maharashtra: Nagpur, Kolhapur

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute work orders received by the company at data center sites as per scope, drawings, timelines and client standards.
2. Supervise electrical and MEP works - LT panels, cabling, cable trays, earthing, lighting, DG/UPS related works and allied civil/HVAC jobs.
3. Plan daily work, manpower and material; manage subcontractors and workmen at site.
4. Enforce site safety - PPE, LOTO, work permits, toolbox talks, protected working at height and on live/critical systems.
5. Coordinate with client facility teams for permits, shutdowns and approvals.
6. Check quality of work,



take measurements and prepare daily progress reports, JMR and handover documents.
7. Report progress, issues and material requirements to the Project Manager on time.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- 3 to 5 years of site experience in electrical / MEP contracting; data center, telecom or commercial building experience preferred.
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, LT distribution, cable sizing, earthing and testing.
- Sound knowledge of site safety practices and personnel safety.
- Must read and write good English (reports, emails, client communication).
- Must have permanent residence in Mumbai / Navi Mumbai (staying with family or as a bachelor).
- Must be willing to travel to outstation sites in Maharashtra and Gujarat as required.

Salary and Benefits

- Salary: Rs. 25,000 - 30,000 per month (based on experience and interview).
- Conveyance paid separately.
- Overtime pay as applicable.
- Diwali bonus after completion of one year of service.
