Job Description – Purchase Executive for HVAC Industry

Location: Ambattur, Chennai

Position: Purchase Executive

Experience: Minimum 1 Year

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with at least 1 year of experience to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, purchase documentation, and timely availability of materials as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities as per company requirements.

Source and evaluate suppliers for required materials, components, and consumables.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain purchase records.

Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.

Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials.

Coordinate with Stores, Production, Accounts, and other departments regarding material requirements.

Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requirements accordingly.

Verify purchase documents, quotations, invoices, and delivery challans.

Maintain proper records of vendors, purchase orders, and procurement transactions.





Identify and develop reliable vendors for regular and critical requirements.

Resolve issues related to material quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.

Ensure procurement activities are completed within the required timeline and company procedures.

Required Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchase/Procurement.

Good knowledge of vendor management and purchase processes.

Solid negotiation and communication skills.

Good follow-up and coordination abilities.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.

Experience in manufacturing/refrigeration/HVAC industry will be an added advantage.
