Fabrication Fitter to fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain metal structures and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and measurements.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting, and assembly of metal components.
- Mark, measure, and prepare materials according to required dimensions.
- Fit and align structural components before welding.
- Work with materials such as MS, SS, and other metals.
- Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Check dimensions, alignment, and quality of fabricated components.
- Assist welders during fabrication and assembly activities.
- Identify and correct fitting or dimensional issues.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and safe working area.
- Follow company safety procedures, quality standards,



and work instructions.
- Coordinate with welders, supervisors, engineers, and other team members to complete jobs on schedule.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, or a related trade preferred.
- Previous experience as a Fabrication Fitter or Structural Fitter.
- Valuable knowledge of fabrication and fitting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tape, and spirit level.
- Ability to use grinders, drills, cutting machines, and other workshop tools.
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop or industrial environment.
