Roles and Responsibilities
• Extract quantities from architectural, interior, and MEP drawings (AutoCAD/Revit) to create detailed BOQs and cost estimates.





• Carry out item-wise rate analysis (materials + labour + overheads) for all major trades: Civil, Electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Networking, Furniture, etc. C&I; is a must-have.

• Prepare and maintain rate databases, cost libraries, and benchmarking tools based on market intelligence and past project data.

• Track and update prevailing market rates for materials, labour, and subcontractor services across regions.

• Prepare unit rate-based costing sheets with speed and precision to support sales/design teams during RFPs and client pitches.

• Support early-stage project pricing and value engineering options to meet target budgets without compromising functionality or aesthetics.

• Scout for current materials, vendors, and technologies to optimise pricing, lead times, and installation efficiency.

• Create and share cost comparison statements, rate breakdowns, and rate justification notes for internal approvals.
