Role Description :
Senior Research Scientist with expertise in catalysis, chemical engineering, or reaction engineering to lead our initial research initiatives.
This is an opportunity to help establish a new industrial R&D; program, with significant scientific ownership and the freedom to explore promising technological pathways.
• Develop and evaluate catalysts for chemical conversion processes, including light-olefin conversion and sustainable fuel pathways.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments, including catalyst synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation.
• Work with laboratory and research partners to develop experimental capabilities.
• Investigate reaction mechanisms, process efficiency, and opportunities for industrial scale-up.
• Translate experimental findings into research milestones, technical documentation, and potential intellectual property.
• Help build AMRI's scientific capabilities and future research team.
Qualifications :
• PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Catalysis, or a closely related field; exceptional master's graduates with relevant industrial R&D; experience are welcome.
• Approximately 3–8 years of relevant research experience, including doctoral research where applicable.
• Hands-on experience in heterogeneous catalysis, reaction engineering, or chemical process development.
• Familiarity with catalyst characterization, reactor experimentation, and analytical techniques.
